HealthCare Alliance Group, LLC, an innovative, full-service medical communications company, is adding a full-time, in-house Senior Project Manager to their already dynamic project management team. The Senior Project Manager will facilitate and implement cost-effective, timely medical communication and marketing projects for a variety of clients in the pharmaceutical and health advocacy industries.

Candidates must have demonstrated experience managing high-level projects associated with pre-and post-launch products including life-cycle management and strategy, advisory boards, Key Opinion Leader communications and management, exhibit booth design and management, interactive, online and mobile technologies, webcasts, speakers’ bureaus, live meeting series, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of projects, including the development of project launch meetings, timelines, status reports, day-to-day management and the adherence to project budgets
  • Collaborate with and direct the Editorial, Creative Services, Meeting Services, IT & Web Services, Fulfillment Services, and Accounting staff to ensure high quality and timely delivery of projects
  • Serve as primary daily contact with clients for specific projects as assigned.  Address client questions and feedback and proactively troubleshoot potential issues or concerns
  • Engage and effectively communicate with Key Opinion Leaders across a variety of projects and initiatives
  • Work with various outside vendors and freelance contractors to coordinate printing, booth development, technology services, mailing, and writing as needed
  • Support the V.P., Strategy & Business Development on the development of Standard Operating Procedures
  • Assist with new business initiatives including proposals, slide presentations, client research and new business pitches, as needed
  • Assist in the mentoring and/or have direct supervision of Project Coordinators and Associate Project Managers. Manage the daily activities, workflow and delegation to Project Coordinators on specific projects as assigned.
  • Lead project teams autonomously to ensure successful completion of projects under tight deadlines
  • Travel may be required (up to 25% including nights & weekends)

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or a related field; and 5+ years of related medical communications agency experience
  • Direct-to-patient marketing communications and branding experience is a plus
  • Must be a demonstrated self-starter, strategic-thinker, problem-solver, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, yet rewarding team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Superior organizational and time-management skills are necessary
  • Attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communications skills are also a must

This role will be responsible for increasing revenue and developing new business, contributing to strategic direction and providing oversight of client services.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the VP, Strategy and Business Development, and other internal stakeholders to develop and execute annual and quarterly strategic development plans to meet and exceed targeted sales quotas and grow HCA Group
  • Identify potential business opportunities by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual pharmaceutical companies and their strategies, products, and pipelines
  • Propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities
  • Assist the Strategic Development Team in planning and developing proposals; includes review and preparation of proposals, and working with Accounting Department to assist in the development of proposal budgets

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field, from a four-year college or university, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five (5+) or more years of experience in Medical Education, Pharmaceutical marketing and/or Pharmaceutical advertising industries
  • Knowledge of PhRMA Code, OIG Regulations, Physician Payments Sunshine Act, and other industry guidelines a must
  • Top notch client management and sales skills experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship building skills
  • Exceptional research, organizational and planning skills
  • Salesforce or CRM experience
  • Microsoft Office product proficiency
